The Annex Sessions

The Annex Sessions is a community-funded, live music series produced by SunJams Productions in partnership with The Natural Grocery Company and Javier Naverette Music Productions. Since our beginning in April, 2022, we have been offering live music shows every week  on Wednesday evenings at the Annex Natural Grocery, located at 10387 San Pablo Avenue, El Cerrito CA. All performances are offered on a “pay what you can” donation system and everyone, young and old, is welcome!  

The Annex Sessions offer deep diversity in its live performances. From Latin Jazz to R&B, Flamenco to Blues, musicians from the Bay Area and all over the world come together to provide rich rhythms that nurture the collective community. SunJams is able to make these sessions possible through its fundraising efforts at the sessions and in the community. Your donations help us fund music education programs for children in our communities. We often include local youth as part of the weekly live sessions, allowing kids from our communities to get real world performance experience and to learn from the seasoned musicians who bring their talent and their love of music to our sessions every week. 

Annex Sessions seating is offered on a first-come, first-served basis, but we do offer a limited number of reserved seats for donors. You can join our mailing list to receive a weekly link for show announcements and to make donations. We also offer a special VIP Table reservation for parties of 4 or more. Follow us on Instagram, where you can find links (in the Bio section) to make reservations for the upcoming show.
